How to Get Women to Like You – Using Super Powerful Body Language

Listen up – if you do not use body language in any way to get women then you are missing out. The biggest misconception that guys have is that they will need to be smooth talkers to get women to like them. Total nonsense! Up to 93% of all communications is done via non-verbal communications. This explains why the best way to get women to be attracted to you is to use body language! Read on to discover the killer body language tactics to get women to like you…

How To Get Women To Like You – Using Super Powerful Body Language

Technique #1: “Tone of Voice”. This is the easiest thing to do in order to be attractive to women. Guys who speak with a high pitch are perceived to be wimpy. You must speak in a low baritone – and slowly. This conveys heaps of confidence, and gives out masculine signals.

In case you are wondering – ‘voice’ is also considered as part of your body, especially in dating and seducing women.

Technique #2: “Lean Back”. The worst way you can come across is to look super needy and desperate. Therefore, you must lean back and act as if you are just slightly interested in her. Give her the impression that you are going to leave anytime, and she will need to work at it if she wants you to stay.

Once you know of these two powerful body language techniques, then you can supercharge your seduction powers by using hypnosis techniques. One such technique, called fractionation, is known to be able to make women fall in love super quickly – often in 15 minutes or less. Super powerful stuff!

Cell Phones – Advantages and Disadvantages

Cell phones are a mind blowing invention of the current century. If you take a look a few years back, a mobile was not measured as a necessity, but it was rather seen as a luxury that was available to a minute group of people. It was not affordable by everyone and only high class or business people actually owned one. But previously, life without mobile looks impossible. No one can imagine a life without a cell phone. Many people do not even leave their home without it. No matter what is the age, people all across the global village are added to cell phone.

There are thousands reasons behind its popularity in such a short span of time but mainly it is because of the fact that mobile phones are no longer considered just as a hand phone but they have transformed into a technological device, offering various technologies such as GPS, Music player, PDA and much more. To stay in competition, almost every week, manufacturers all over the world are introducing a new model with upgraded features that fits best to your lifestyle.

Large number of people find it to be a convenient mean to interact with others. With the blink of an eye you can contact with anyone across the globe. Nowadays, mobile phones are constantly being update which allows you to enjoy a wide range of new features. Based on the mobile model now you can easily watch television on your handset, can play huge number of games, can surf for information from internet, can receive or send electronic mail, can send or take 3D pictures, keep a balance tracks of important meetings And appointment via reminders, store a huge list of contacts with complete description and a lot more.

In simple words, a mobile phone is a need of every individual. Nowadays, the need has also transformed into a fashion. People opt for expensive mobile devices to impress others. Every phone has an option of 'customize your phone' through which users can easily adjust the phone according to the environment or taste.

You will come across with many such parents who gift their children with a cell phone. This is not because they want to provide their children with a new technology but the major reason behind it is their safety. Mobile phone can proof to be the best source of protection in case of emergency.

Everything has pro and cons, and cell phone has its drawbacks as well. Following are some drawbacks of cell phone:

1. Health issues: Recent research says that radiations emitted by the cell phone results in blurring of eye sight, earaches, and headache and can even lead to cancer.

2. No privacy: If somehow your cell is misplaced, it will lead you to a couple of difficulties; Unless you have put on strong passwords which are not easily breakable with software.

3. Cell phone and driving: Mostly, accident occurs because of carelessness and the major reason behind it is the use of mobile while driving.

No matter what are the disadvantages of using cell phone, its pros are simply uncountable. These advantages have made people an addict of the cell phone.

How To Raise Your Kids The Right Way

The goal as a parent is to help your child feel competent and confident, and to help her develop a sense of passion and purpose. There are many ways to raise happy, well-adjusted kids, but science has a few tips for making sure they turn out okay. From keeping it fun to letting them leave the nest.

No one would argue that raising children of character demands time and effort. While having children may be doing what comes naturally, being a good parent is much more complicated. Here are some steps to follow.

1 – Put parenting first:

Once you're a parent, you have to learn to put your priorities below your children's, and to make the sacrifice to spending more of your day caring for them than you doing caring for yourself.

2 – Do not aim for perfection:

According to a study, new parents who believe society expects perfection from them are more stressed and less confident in their parenting skills.

3 – Be good to your sons, Mamas:

A warm, attached relationship with mom sees important in preventing behavior problems in sons, even more so than in girls, the research found.

A close relationship with their mothers can help keep boys from acting out.

4 – Eat dinner as a family:

The dinner table is not only a place of maintenance and family business but also a place for the teaching and passing on of our values.

5 – Tend to your mental health:

Research suggests that depressed moms struggle with parenting and even show muted responses to their babies'ries compared with healthy moms.

According to researchers, kids raised by these mothers are more easily stressed out by the preschool years.

6 – Give your child enough play time every day:

"Play time" does not mean having your child sit in front of the TV while you do the dishes.

It means letting your child sit in his room or play area and to actively engage with stimulating toys while you help him explore their possibilities

7 – Be positive:

Parents who express negative emotions towards their infants or handle them are often likely to find themselves with aggressive kindergartners.

Behavioral aggression at age 5 is linked to aggression later in life, even towards future romantic partners.

8. Joking helps:

When parents joke and pretend, it gives young kids the tools to think creatively, make friends and manage stress.

9. Encourage independence:

You can still be there for your child while encouraging him to explore his own interests. Do not tell your child which lessons to take; Let him pick from a variety of options.

Do not be accused if you feel things are getting too much for you. Ask for help. Tell your partner when you're having a hard time, find a babysitter or parenting counselor, seek support from other parents, learn new ways of parenting that will make it more easy and enjoyable for you.

Vlans

In order to implement VLANs in a network environment, you'll need a Layer 2 switch that supports them. Almost all switches sold today that are described as "managed" switches provide the ability to make ports members of different VLANs. However, switches that do not provide any configuration function (such as many basic, lower-end switches) do not provide the ability to configure VLANs. Almost any Cisco Catalyst switch that you'll come across today provides the ability to make ports part of different VLANs.

Before getting into the details of how a VLAN functions, it's worth exploring some of the advantages that a VLAN provides. First and foremost, VLANs provide the ability to define broadcast domains without the constraint of physical location. For example, instead of making all of the users on the third floor part of the same broadcast domain, you may use VLANs to make all of the users in the HR department part of the same broadcast domain. The benefits of doing this are many. Firstly, these users might be spread through different floors on a building, so a VLAN would allow you to make all of these users part of the same broadcast domain. To that end, this can also be viewed as a security feature – since all HR users are part of the same broadcast domain, you could later use policies such as access lists to control which areas of the network these users have access to, or which Users have access to the HR broadcast domain. Furthermore, if the HR department's server were placed on the same VLAN, HR users would be able to access their server without the need for traffic to cross routers and potentially impact other parts of the network.

VLANs are defined on a switch on a port-by-port basis. That is, you may choose to make ports 1-6 part of VLAN 1, and ports 7-12 part of VLAN 2. There's no need for ports in the same VLAN to be contiguous at all – you could make ports 1, 3 and 5 on a switch part of VLAN 1, for example. On almost all switches today, all ports are part of VLAN 1 by default. If you want to implement additional VLANs, these must first be defined in the switch's software (such as the IOS on a Cisco switch), and then ports must be made members of that VLAN. A VLAN is not limited to a single switch, either. If trunk links are used to interconnect switches, a VLAN might have 3 ports on one switch, and 7 ports on another, as shown below. The logical nature of a VLAN makes it a very effective tool, especially in larger networking environments.

Inter-VLAN Communication

I mentioned a few times already that a VLAN is simply a special type of broadcast domain, in that it is defined on a switch port basis rather than traditional physical boundaries. Recall from the earlier articles in this series that when a host in one broadcast domain wishes to communicate with another, a router must be involved. This same holds true for VLANs. For example, imagine that port 1 on a switch is part of VLAN 1, and port 2 part of VLAN 99. If all of the switch's ports were part of VLAN 1, the hosts connected to these ports could communicate without issue. However, once the ports are made part of different VLANs, this is no longer true. In order for a host connected to port 1 to communicate with another connected to port 2, a router must be involved.

You may already be familiar with the concept of a Layer 3 switch. A Layer 3 switch is generally a Layer 2 switching device that also includes the ability to act as a router, typically through the use of additional hardware and software features. If a switch includes Layer 3 capabilities, it can be configured to route traffic between VLANs defined in the switch, without the need for packets to ever leave the switch. However, if a switch only includes Layer 2 functionaility, an external router must be configured to route traffic between the VLANs. In some cases, it's entirely possible that a packet will leave switch port 1, be forwarded to an external router, and then be routed right back to port 2 on the originating switch. For this reason, many companies have decided to implement Layer 3 switches strategically through their network. Regardless of the method chosen, it's most important for you to recognize that when a host on one VLAN wants to communicate with a host on another, a router must somehow be involved.

Extended VLANs Between Switches

In order to extend VLANs across different switches, a trunk link must connect the switches. Think of a trunk link as being similar to an uplink between hubs – typically a trunk link is implemented between fast switch ports on two different switches using a crossover cable. For example, you may interconnect two Gigabit Ethernet ports on different switches using fiber optics, or two 100 Mbps switch ports using a traditional Cat5 crossover cable. In most cases it is generally recommended that you use the fastest port available for trunk connections, since this link will often carry a great deal of traffic, possibly for multiple VLANs.

To begin, let's assume that you have connected a link between the 100 Mbps ports of two switches, as shown below. Notice that each of these ports are members of VLAN 1 on each switch. By default, without any additional configuration, these ports will act as a trunk link, but will only pass traffic for the VLAN associated with their port connections – VLAN 1. This type of link, where only traffic for a single VLAN is passed, is Referred to as an "Access Link". While an access link does the job for a single VLAN environment, multiple access links would be required if you wanted traffic from multiple VLANs to be passed between switches. Having multiple access links between the same pair of switches would be a big waste of switch ports. Obviously another solution is required when traffic for multiple VLANs needs to be transferred across a single trunk link. The solution for this comes through the use of VLAN tagging.

VLAN Tagging

When you want traffic from multiple VLANs to be able to traverse a link that interconnects two switches, you need to configure a VLAN tagging method on the ports that supply the link. Although there are a number of tagging methods in use for different technologies, the two that you need to be aware of for the purpose of the CCNA exam are known as InterSwitch Link (ISL) and 802.1q. ISL is a Cisco proprietary VLAN tagging methods, while 802.1q is a open standard. When connecting two Cisco switches, ISL is usually the best choice, but if you need to connect switches of different types (a Cisco switch and an Avaya switch, for example), then you'll need to use IETF.

For the CCNA exam, the only thing that you really need to know about 802.1q is that it is the open standard for VLAN tagging, and should be used in mixed environments. The exam expects you to have a certain deeper understanding of ISL, including how it works, when it can be used, and quite, its purpose.

First and foremost, you need to be aware that ISL will only function on ports with a speed of 100 Mbps or greater. That is, you can not use ISL in conjunction with a 10 Mbps port. That should not be an issue, since most Cisco Catalyst switches provide at least one or two Fast Ethernet ports, even on lower-end models like the 1912. Secondly, the ports on either end of the link need to support and be configured for ISL.

ISL is referred to as a VLAN tagging method. Essentially, what ISL does is tag a frame as it leaves a switch with information about the VLAN that the frame belongs to. For example, if a frame from VLAN 99 is leaving a switch, the ISL port will add information to the frame header, designating that the frame is part of VLAN 99. When this ISL frame reaches the port at the other end of the switch, It will look at the ISL header, determine that the frame is meant for VLAN 99, will strip off the ISL information, and will forward it into VLAN 99. One of the issues with VLAN tagging is that by adding information to an Ethernet frame, The size of the frame can move beyond the Ethernet maximum of 1518 bytes, to 1522 bytes. Because of this, all non-ISL ports will see frames larger than 1518 bytes as giants, and as such, invalid. This is the reason why a port needs to be configured for ISL in order for it to understand this different frame format.

One VLAN tagging is configured on the ports associated with the link connecting switches, the link is known as a "Trunk Link". A trunk link is capable of transferring frames from many different VLANs through the use of technologies like ISL or 802.1q.

A better strategy here would be to configure ISL tagging on one of the router's Fast Ethernet interfaces, and then configure ISL on the connected switch port. This configuration, also known as a "router on a stick", would allow the router to process the traffic of multiple VLANs, and route traffic between them. We'll get into the details of routing within the next few articles.

Beyond its intended purpose of configuring trunk links between switches, ISL is often used in other ways. For example, it is possible to purchase network interface cards that support ISL. If a server were configured with an ISL-capable network card, it could be connected to an ISL port on a switch.

This would allow a server to be made part of multiple VLANs simultaniously, the benefit being that hosts from different broadcast domains could then access the server without the need for their packets to be routed. While this may seem like a perfect solution, you need to remember than the server would now see all traffic from these VLANs, which could negatively impact performance.

I hope this article has provided you the good information about the Vlans.

Message From the Universe: Knowing How Much It Takes to Succeed

"Some folks, not having lived as often as you, endured as much, or loved as much, simply can not see the truth of a situation, disagreement, or relationship as clearly as you.

And so, it's wise to keep in mind, that it's not their fault.

Can you see this?
The Universe "

Here is the scenario: You work your butt off, years after years, where you struggle, sacrifice, lose out on your social life, miss family events (I would not recommend that as family always comes first) and at the end, you Make it big. However, during your difficult journey, you see your friends enjoying life, living paycheck by paycheck, without any worries about life. They make fun of you because of how dedicated you are to your success, some will even try to convince you that your idea might not be as great as you see it. Your mind is stronger to what your ears hear on a daily basis, which is mostly negative comments towards your dreams. No one really knows how much you endured through your challenges and obstacles. To be honest, it is not their fault and you can not accuse them of not understanding you. You might see them come to you for financial help after you have reach ultimate success, and they might take you for granted for all the new fortune you've been blessed with. They do not realize what it took for you to get to where you are TODAY. For them, you are the new Bank that was just built in the corner of the street.

Because no one did what you did to accomplish your dreams, they will never know the value of hard work. They may be working very hard at the office, but not remotely close to what you did for your business. They are too afraid to do what you did and do not realize or comprehend how your hard work did all of what you see today. Sometimes, you can not even realize it as it becomes so distant to you as well. We seem to forget how much work it required because time has passed, and even though you know everything in life requires work, time and patience, you tend to forget all of what was required for you to make it as big as you did. It's important to help others as well, as you were blessed with not just material wealth, but mental wealth as well. You can redo all of what you see in a heartbeat, including all of the struggling to be successful again. No one can really know what you went because unless they lived with you 24/7. Do not even waste your time in trying to explain that to someone who needs financial help. The amount that you give is really up to you, but make sure you are clear with them that you are not their LOCAL bank where they can withdraw money whenever it's needed. You need to help others help themselves. Just like the old adage: "You can buy a fish to someone and feed them for a day, of you can teach them to fish and feed them for life". Your knowledge is worth way more than how much you have in your bank account.

Be A Rock Star Panelist

Being invited to speak on a panel is a golden opportunity, a wonderful way to demonstrate your expertise and ability to think on your feet. Being on a panel is an excellent marketing technique and it can also be fun. There is an art to it, though, and if you want to be invited to participate a second time, make sure that you look good the first time.

1. Know the subject

You've been invited to join the panel to share your deep knowledge and experience and / or your intriguing and compelling perspectives regarding the subject matter. You are there to inform and enlighten the audience. Do not disappoint. If you do not possess the expertise, then you must decline the invitation, regardless of how wonderful the opportunity is.

2. Control your introduction

One week before your appearance, confirm details with the program organizer and send a three sentence bio that should be forwarded to the panel moderator. As a precaution, print out a copy and hand it to the moderator before taking your seat.

3. Speak up and speak clearly

Veteran speakers say that the optimal distance between your lips and the microphone is one inch. Lean in (but do not hunch over) and speak clearly.

4. Entertain and inform

As with a program keynote speaker, a panelist is there not only to inform, but also entertain. A bored audience tunes out. Witty sound-bytes work wonders. Sprinkling in a few makes you look smart and you will be remembered by those in the audience.

5. Tell the outrageous truth

Prepare yourself for a tough, possibly embarrassing, question from the moderator. Fear not, because this is a good thing. You will then have the opportunity to be gutsy and funny, and show the audience that you are a straight shooter. Tell the outrageous truth, especially when it's obvious. If the question is that scary, plead the fifth amendment and let the audience laugh with you.

6. KISS — Keep it short and simple

Real experts know how to boil complex issues down to their essence and give answers and explanations that can be readily understood by non-experts. Avoid tossing around technical jargon and you'll look like the smartest person in the room and win the admiration of the audience.

7. Answer the question that you want to answer

Without you feel that you must take the fifth, answer the question that was asked, but do not hesitate to take the discussion in a direction that lets you express your unique perspective, or demonstrate your expertise and experience. Give your answer and segue with "… but the real issue is …"

8. Face the audience and not the moderator

It is tempting to face the person who asks the questions, but be mindful that s / he is not the audience, but the vehicle for posing questions that tease out information that audience members are presumed to want.

9. Never look bored

Active listening will help with this one. Looking engaged while another panelist is droning on, or resisting the reflexive action of making a face if someone says something that you find inaccurate or ridiculous, is perhaps the hardest part of being a panelist.

10. Listen to the other panelists

Being able to refer to something said by another panelist adds to the value of the information shared. If you want to politely refute a previous panelist, or add more information to a point that has been made ("… I think the real issue is …"), you'll need to listen carefully. Jotting down a couple of notes is a good idea as well, to help you remember what was said and / or configure your rebuttal.

11. Never agree with the other panelists (much)

Moderators frequently put the same question to every panelist, so that different perspectives on the question can be brought forth. The last speaker often will have nothing to add. Rather than stating that you agree with the previous panelists, with a smile, say "I believe the question has been answered."

12. Know the other panelists

The organizer should tell you who else is on the panel. Internet search and find out their areas of expertise and what they may have written or said about the subject. You do not want any surprises and honestly, you want information that will help you look smarter.

Thanks for reading,

Kim

Business Car Leasing – Image & Impact

Whether you need to travel to get to work or your job requires to travel all over the country, having a can be the most useful form of transport. Car’s are a lot more reliable and give you the independence to go anywhere you please.

But what happens if you need to travel for business but you do not have a car?

Well there is always the option of business car leasing. This will enable you to have a brand new car with all the latest features almost straight away. As an advantage, if you lease a car through a business you as an individual are at a less of a risk. Although to receive an approved business lease you will need to have a good idea of your credit on the business accounts as these will be checked against the approval. Like a normal car lease monthly payments will be required once the lease has been agreed, however as a business lease these payments can be seen as expenses which can be counterbalance against corporation tax. By also taking out a maintenance contract as well as a business car lease means that all of the VAT paid on that lease will be reclaimable.

So how does business car leasing work?

After you are credit approved through the business accounts, you will place your order which covers your specific requests, and then you will need to pay a deposit as a financial commitment to the contract agreed. Once the deposit has been made and all other paperwork had been completed and signed, the delivery date will be set and you will then need to pay the first initial payment to the company which is dealing with the financing of the lease.

Like normal car leases the initial payment is 3, 6 or 9 times the monthly amount. Servicing however all depends on the length of your contract. Like all new lease cars you have peace of mind that you will not have to worry about the MOT of the car unless you have four year contract, as the MOT will be required on after the third year. If you do decide to take out a maintenance contract with your lease, any services, MOT, wear and tear will be covered within your maintenance contract.

Are there any advantages of having a business car lease?

Well for starters people always say that “the best impression is always the first impression”. You may not think this is important when leasing a car but for business this can make a big difference. Although the idea of social classes are slowly blending over the years, it goes without saying that when you rock up in a fancy or expensive car to a business meeting people will picture you as person from a relatively wealthy background. From this an idea of “importance” can be clearly identified and can make a really strong impression. Other advantages are some that were mentioned previously, like the fact that when you decide on a business car leasing, you will be covered by certain business expenses which can cut the overall cost down significantly.

Of course with all advantages come disadvantages, and when it comes to business car leasing some of the disadvantages are that as the vehicles are not considered as assets of the company the devaluation cannot be written off for tax purposes. Other tax issues similarly can arise such as the number of vehicles and the amount of mileage that can be claimed for. Like normal leases there will be mileage limitations where anything over the agreed limit will be charged with additional excess fees. As a business you are still required to provide your own fully comprehensive insurance on all leased vehicles.

Forgive All Ebay Sins!

Over the years, I have been amazed at the "blinding" greed and reckless approach to commerce that some business owners have employed. Lying to customers, selling inferior merchandise, and not offering refunds, left a firestorm of irate customers in their wake. Without fail, all of this "ill will" led most businesses to bankruptcy, and in some cases, Federal Prison.

I realize that not everyone engages in "business criminality" that increases to the level of fraud and incarceration. Most people try to be good stewards, and approach their enterprise in an honest and forthright manner. For those of you who own thriving business concerns you already know that in most cases the customer is always right. You make sure that you communicate effectively, refund monies if the buyer is truly unhappy, and try to meet the needs of the people who buy your goods or services.

However, there are more than a handful of eBay sellers that are of the mind that customer service and effective communication is not something that they need not participate in. Take the case of a woman named Barbara, (Nickname: BobAnn) who recently posted her disappointment on the Ryze Business Network:

Barbara Cerda wrote:
Greetings Everyone,

"When will sellers on eBay understand that customer service is key? And when will eBay sellers learn using customer friendly approaches can only make their business grow?" Again today I've bought from a less than friendly seller.

Thought I was placing a bid and instead bought the item at the buy now price. Of course the seller refused to allow the retraction, nor was I allowed to place a bid. I always pay for my winning bids immediately upon email confirmation.

And did so in this case. But it would have been customer friendlier for this seller to accept my retraction to be replaced with a bid. He would have gotten repeat business from me and my friends. His "Buy" price is 30% over the retail price for this item. Lesson learned by me again – that there are way too many sellers on eBay out to grab a buck and the hell with fair practice.

Lesson learned yet again. "

BobAnn

End quote …

The operative phrase here is "repeat business from me and my friends". There is no better endorsement of your product or service than word of mouth advertising. Lack of flexibility on the part of the seller, not only cost them one customer, but also destroyed the potential for future business. Good news travels fast, but bad news travels faster!

As an auction seller, (Ebay auction ID: LevelBest77) I would have accommodated her request right away. And while I have never had anyone use "Buy It Now" by accident, I have had several people over the years ask me to retract bids. The number of people who have made that request can be count on one hand! Some, did not even understand the process, (bid retracting) and I was more than willing to guide them through it.

People make honest mistakes, and you should never "abuse" a buyer for doing so. If you plan to get into eBay auction selling for the long haul, always practice good will toward your customers. Unless someone is totally unreasonable, and you have done everything in your power to accommodate their request, never deny people the ability to change their mind, return an item, or retract a bid! Developing good will also requires that you expect customer needs …..

For instance, I had a few overseas customers bid on a wireless router. This particular item needed to be powered with a Universal Adapter, since voltage requirements in France and Australia are obviously different from those here in the United States.

I made this abundantly clear to both bidders before they sent me any payment. The purchase of such an adapter, not to mention the shipping price, would have doubled the US retail cost. I told them that they could probably get the product cheaper at their local electronics stores. Without hesitation, I let them out of their obligation to pay for the item. I then contacted the next highest bidder and offered that person the chance to make the purchase.

Both bidders thanked me for my honesty. They had forgotten about the electrical differences. I could have ignored that little detail, and sold them the item anyway. I just had to put myself in their situation. Think of how frustrated they would have been if I did not reveal that information. Buyer's remorse would have set in quickly, once they realized that they could have purchased the same item for a lot less in their native countries.

While the benefits of these actions may not have an immediate effect, you can be sure that should I ever have another "item of interest!" These two gentlemen would not hesitate to purchase from me. They can count on me to accommodate their needs, instead of catering to my wants. Creating this type of good will instills trust, and the knowledge that you have the customers best interest in mind.

"Me thinketh you doth protest too much!

Do you accentuate the positive? Or, do you run on negativity? Negative eBay feedback is a tool that everyone should use with restraint, or not at all. As a rule, I never leave negative feedback. Without someone has blatantly lied about your product, or attacked you personally without merit, then I would not leave any feedback in the "minus" side of the isle!

"Flame" wars are not pretty. I have seen a lot of unnecessary back and forth "banter" that could have been avoided, if they (the seller) just resisted the urge to make their "two cents" known. Sometimes it gives customers the impression that you are more concerned about arguing, then conducting your business.

I have also witnessed seller feedback that has included some pretty foul language. Engaging in this type of verbal sparring is not much of a confidence builder either. It is more telling of what you are, then about revealing the sins of your customers. Do not go out of your way to register a negative response if you can help it. Heed the sage advice that our Mother's use to tell us: "If you can not say anything nice, do not say anything at all!"

"What we have here is a failure to communicate!"

Communication with your customers should not amount to the sound one hand clapping! Bottom line, if someone e-mails you with a question – answer it! Here is an example of the type of feedback I obtained by doing just that ……

"He was very Helpful and cooperative in answering questions. Follow-up: Will DEFINITELY use his services anytime he has items of interest! Great Seller!"

The gentlemen who left this positive review, wanted to know about some of the particulars of a "Mickey Mouse" clock I had up for auction. His wife is a collector of all things Disney, and thought it would be a nice surprise for her birthday. The clock, to say the least, was in sad shape. It was incapable of keeping time, and the only part of it in working order was the second hand. I thought for sure that he would have disappointed with the item despite full disclosure of all of it's imperfections.

To my surprise, not only did I receive positive feedback, but he also told me that his wife absolutely loved it! In this instance, one man's junk, really, is another man's treasure! I never thought this item was worthy of any praise! The time it took to answer his questions – all of five minutes!

I know that some of you will say that I am not being realistic. You just can not answer e-mails all day; "I have a business to run!" You may proclaim. If you plan on making a living on Ebay, then you better think about hiring someone to help you answer your daily inquires if it is just too overwhelming. If you specialize in a particular product, set up a Frequently Asked Questions page to any Auto-Responder.

If you use eBay on an infrequent basis, and have less than thirty listings a month, then you really do not have any excuse not to provide great customer service and e-mail communication. You should not be inundated with questions regarding that many items, except the product you are selling is technical in nature.

If you ignore your customers, they will go away. Good customer service should be woven into the fabric of every good business. I can not overemphasis the importance of this issue. I continue to be perplexed by the fact that it is last on the list of business priorities for some eBay sellers!

Will good customer service and communication alone make you rich on Ebay? That would be a resounding "no". You will have to understand your market, and provide products that the eBay community will bid on consistently. Wedding Shoes to Kill Your Blues

Oxford street seemed to get longer and hotter every time Jesse exited another shop. This time, outside John Lewis she leant against the doorway and gazed into the distance. Surely she was not running out of shops? She sighed and prepared herself to start the hunt again. Dizziness stopped her in her tracks and she realized that she must rest for a while. Why had she left this late in the day? Why had she stubbornly refused her mother's offers of help to organize the wedding when she would have given her more time to put together her own outfit and would probably have healed the gulf in their relationship?

Jesse walked straight back into the store she had just left because at least there she knew where the coffee shop was. She also knew she had only a matter of hours before the shops closed and her hunt for wedding shoes would be over. Tomorrow she would walk into the office office in shoes that are too clumpy for that lovely lace blouse that grandma had given her years ago. She had only to replace a missing button to have the sweetest top and then she had actually made the silk skirt herself but the wedding shoes were driving her mad; None of them seemed right.

She was almost weeping with frustration when a gentle voice said 'may I sit here? I just can not shop for as long as I used to. Thank goodness this lovely restaurant is still here. ' She paused and then continued. 'But hark at me babbling on. My names Mrs Whooton, or Mary, 'she added with a smile. Jesse looked up without enthusiasm, she had no time to chat but as she was too tired to move anyway she told her her name. Mary reached for Jesse's hand and squeezed it gently. 'It sometimes helps to share a trouble.' Jesse looked amazed. 'Oh, it's written all over your face my dear. Tell an old lady and you might be surprised by what she knows. '

Jesse looked at the woman's softly round, powdered face, gray hair escaping in small whisps from a shapeless brown hat; Then she saw the large clock hands just touching the four and a moment's panic made her sob out loud. 'Come on my dear,' Mary said encouragingly. 'Tell me what's troubling you.' Jesse was surprised by how quickly the story spilled out of her mouth, even including her problems with speaking to her mother and of course finishing with the story of the wedding shoes.

'Your granny's blouse was Victorian then?' She asked curiously. Jesse nodded. 'Then I do not suppose you know of a small boutique in Jordan street do you? It's sort of overshadowed by the new shops but it specializes in Victorian costumes. There might be something there that would suit. ' Jesse's eyes widened with hope. 'Where's Jordan Street?' She gathered herself together and thanked Mary. 'Oh I just hope they can help you, she said, then added' Your mother, Jesse, you know she only wants to make sure you're alright. ' Jesse nodded suddenly finding a lump in her throat at the mention of her mother. 'Call her my dear. You will not regret it. '

Jesse almost ran to the shop in Jordan Street where she found a treasure trove of Victorian garments. Most importantly she found the perfect wedding shoes to match her silk skirt and lace blouse. As she straightened up to smile at the old man serving her, she glimpsed in a mirror the smiling round face of Mrs Whooton, just taking the hat pin out of her shapeless brown hat.
